St John's Project
St John’s project is a new project in partnership with NHS Lothian Charity and Citizens Advice West Lothian to offer hospital-based welfare advice in St John’s Hospital. NHS Lothian Charity felt there was a need to provide in-depth welfare advice for patients and carers. The focus is on addressing immediate issues to prevent and alleviate crisis for patients and unpaid carers on low incomes and those who are classed as vulnerable. By being based in St Johns we can offer a more responsive, accessible front-line service.
